Jr., AIA, and Mark T. Wellen, AIA, merged their practices. The principals

incorporated
in August 1995 when Studio Portico Based
in Austin and Fredericksburg, Texas, Studio Portico is the historic
preservation
consulting division of Villa Texas, Inc., a residential design and
interiors consulting firm created by Darlene Marwitz, Associate,
AIA. Marwitz passion for old buildings primarily grew during
her graduate years at The University of Texas at Austin where she
received
two degrees, a Master of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master
